The Advertiser merged with the Herald-Dispatch in 1979, and both relocated into the Huntington Advertiser Building, whose facade took the Herald-Dispatch name. A plaque now refers to the structure as the Farrell Building, in recognition of the large law firm that (in 2015) is its principal occupant. | Credit line: West Virginia Collection within the Carol M.
