In 1853, Anderson and his wife, Grethe, immigrated from Norway and made their way to west-central Wisconsin. They built this cabin in the late 1850s or early 1860s and raised a large family in this modest two-story log home that was originally located about 15 miles from Eau Claire in Wheaton Township, Chippewa County. | Credit line: Photographs in the Carol M.
