Opened in 1930, the building was the home of the Crosley Radio Corporation, which at one time was the largest manufacturer of table-top radios in the United States. The building also housed legendary, 50,000-watt WLW's radio studios. Crosley ultimately made appliances, disc brakes, and a short-lived line of automobiles as well as radio and television sets. The building was abandoned in 2006 and condemned in 2012, but was still standing as of 2016. | Credit line: Photographs in the Carol M.
