Built in 1829 as two towers 300 yards apart this station was called Two Lights. Both lights were rebuilt in 1874. One (above), with the grayish roof and black walkway outside its light, is now part of Two Lights State Park and is easily spotted from trails and parking areas along the rocky Atlantic coast. The other, farther inland, is now on private property and rarely seen at ground level by all but its owner and neighbors. | Credit line: Photographs in Carol M.
