In 1989, it was restored and presented by the school's Class of 1931 to the Dayton Art Institute, a museum of fine arts in the southwestern Ohio city. Robert Steele High School, home to all of Dayton's high school students until 1906, closed in the late 1930s and was demolished a decade later. Leo is quite a "survivor."
