A century later (in 2016), it is still in operation as one of three forms of rail transportation offered at the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad, an excusion railway that operates out of Boone, Iowa. The other runs are full trains, some pulled by a steam locomotive and others by a diesel unit. This car was one of three on the No. 50 run; a men's smoking car and a baggage coach (which also carried cans of milk and baskets of eggs picked up from farmers along the route) augmented this passenger coach. | Credit line: Photographs in the Carol M.
