Built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1912 for the Whisky Island iron ore docks in Cleveland, this shunter used its side arms to push empty ore hopper cars under unloaders for filling with iron ore, which was transported to steel mills all over the Ohio Valley region. The shunter operated until 1992, outlasting many of the steel mills to which it sent iron ore. | Credit line: Photographs in the Carol M.
