A very attractive Austrian issued c. 1818 map of Persia and Arabia by Tranquillo Mollo. Centered on the Persian Gulf, the map covers from the Nile Valley to India and from the Caspian Sea to the Straits of Bab-el-Mandeb. It covers the modern day countries of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Iran, and parts of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and Jordan. Beautifully detailed throughout with stippling and shading incorporated to indicated desert regions and topography. Published in Mollo's 1818 Lehrbuch der Geographie.
