The William T. Caswell House in Austin, Texas. Caswell was a prominent Austin cotton merchant. Standing next door to an even-grander house owned by his father, Daniel H. Caswell, this house was constructed circa 1904 by A.O. Watson of rusticated ashlar limestone in the Classic Revival style. Its second-story balcony of this home affords an excellent view of the Texas State Capitol.
