Collection: Albrecht Dürer

Northern Renaissance master Albrecht Dürer (1471–1528) elevated woodcut and engraving from craftsman's trade to fine art. From his Nuremberg workshop came prints that defined what a printed image could be — Knight, Death and the Devil, Melencolia I, the Apocalypse series, the celebrated Rhinoceros, the Praying Hands. This collection presents reproductions of his most enduring copperplates and woodcuts.
